I have had a lifelong fascination and passion for healing and complementary therapies. To be sure, conventional medicine is important. Your doctor is the best person to see for many conditions. Prescription medications have increased our lifespans, and improved the quality of our lives.
At the same time, alternative healthcare is cost-effective, and can greatly improve our health. In addition to providing relaxation and producing feelings of comfort, care and connection, massage can help with a wide variety of conditions. According to the Mayo Clinic, these conditions include
- Digestive disorders
- Insomnia related to stress
- Myofascial pain syndrome
- Soft tissue strains or injuries
- Sports injuries
- Temporomandibular joint pain
I worked many years in corporate offices, and had my first massage about 20 years ago. I was amazed to find that in addition to easing the problems caused by sitting long hours at a desk, it helped my whole body to function better. It improved my mood. It helped me to sleep. I thought, "I would love to become a massage therapist," but didn't have the courage to trade a career path for uncertainty.
In 2013, I decided that it was time to make a change. I have always loved helping people, and wanted to be a partner in their healing.
I love being a masseur. It is the perfect combination of knowledge, passion, intuition and art. I am healing the world, one person at a time.
I look forward to serving you!
